Audi made a big change by giving all-electric cars even numbers and petrol-powered vehicles odd numbers. Now, though, it has gone back to a more standard size-based numbering scheme.
Audi’s 2026 portfolio has a number of revisions, new models, and models that will no longer be made. This is because the company has rebalanced its products to better match the growing popularity of electric vehicles and the need for internal combustion engines. The premium car company also showed us the Concept C, which gives us a look at where Audi’s design language and brand philosophy are going.
Finally, Audi is making its Signature Care service standard across all of its models. This includes annual maintenance for three years or every 10,000 miles up to 30,000 miles with a four-year/50,000-mile limited warranty, a 12-year limited warranty against corrosion, and four years of roadside assistance coverage.

Audi A6 2026
The 2026 Audi A6 was totally revamped and came out with a 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6 engine that made 362 hp. It also had a seven-speed dual-clutch automated transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive. It came with rear-wheel steering and an adjustable air suspension.
The 2026 Audi A6 comes with standard 19-inch wheels. You can choose between 20- and 21-inch wheels. The 2026 A6, like other new Audis, comes with headlights that may be customized. The new A6 has a 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen and an 11.9-inch driver’s display inside.
You can also get a 10.9-inch display for the front passenger seat, as well as a bigger and better head-up display than the one in the A6 from the last generation. Audi gives the car a base 16-speaker audio system and lets you choose a 20-speaker system. There is also an option for four-zone climate control.
The Audi A6 Allroad and RS6 Avant Performance are still the same for 2026. The RS6 Avant Performance is the only car that has blue brake calipers.
2026 Audi A6 Interior
The cabin of the 2026 Audi A6 has a lot of room in both rows, and the materials used look like they are of excellent quality. Most of the furniture is covered in fabric, fake leather, fake suede, or real leather, and the ambient lighting around the room makes it feel more luxurious. A big glass ceiling lets in a lot of light and can be made clear or cloudy.
You can also choose an air filtration system and a four-zone automatic climate control system. The trunk has 14 cubic feet of space, which should be adequate for a lot of things. We’ll measure it ourselves when we receive the Audi A6 back to our office to test it.
Tech
The Audi A6’s dashboard has a row of big screens on it. There is a 14.5-inch touchscreen in the middle and an 11.9-inch digital instrument panel in all variants. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that work over Wi-Fi are likely to be standard. There is an optional 10.9-inch monitor for the front passenger that lets them watch videos that the driver can’t see.
You can also have a head-up display for the 2026 Audi A6. There are two high-end stereo systems to choose from, each with 16 or 20 speakers and tuned by Bang & Olufsen. There are two speakers in each front seat headrest in the 20-speaker arrangement.

2026 Audi A6 Engine
The basic engine is a turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 with 362 horsepower. It comes with all-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Sport Plus package adds a sportier suspension and a ride height that is a little lower. There is also an optional adjustable air spring suspension system that lets you change the ride height and has adaptive dampers.
You may also add rear-wheel steering to the 2026 Audi A6 to make it easier to park. We’ll add our thoughts on driving the new Audi A6 and the results of our tests to this post after we’ve had a chance to drive it.
2026 Audi A6 MPG
The EPA says that the 2026 Audi A6 will get 20 mpg in the city, 29 mpg on the highway, and 23 mpg combined.

Safety
Audi has a lot of basic and optional driver aid systems, such as adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist. 2026 Audi A6 Pricing
The price of the 2026 Audi A6 ranges from $65,395 to $72,695, depending on the grade and features you choose. The A6 portfolio includes the brand’s usual Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige variants. We think the Premium Plus model is the best deal because it has features like a head-up display and four-zone automatic climate control.
To acquire the available chassis enhancements, though, you’ll have to spend extra for the Prestige model. This model comes with an air suspension as standard, but you can also get the Sport Plus option, which replaces it with a lower, sportier conventional suspension that has summer tires, rear-wheel steering, and a sport differential.
