That’s 21 more horsepower and 44 more lb-ft of torque than was offered by the S4 earlier 3.0-liter overload V-6.

This engine connects to a 8-speed automatic ZF to torque converter, a device which replaces the automatic gearbox to seven (D Safe G) of the previous model.
