2019 Audi S5 Sportback Interior
In terms of design, there are not many surprises. If you are already familiar with the rest of the lineup, the RS 5 Sportback looks as you would expect. As attractive as the S5 Sportback is already, however, that’s not a bad thing. And while the RS4 2007 will always have a special place in our heart, there is no argument that the rear hatch offers much more practicality than a sedan with a traditional trunk.
Audi has not said anything about the prices yet, but we expect it to be released when the RS 5 Sportback goes on sale in the United States later this year.
You cannot deny that the S5 Sportback has style. Its tapered ceiling, longer wheelbase, and Twisted window line give Sportback a missing visual presence of its two-door stablemates. In addition, our test car benefited from an eye-popping coat of red tango paint, a $575 option.
Elegant and functional, the S5 Sportback hatch conceals 22 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats; There are 10 more cubes than the trunk of S5 coupe and nine more than the S4 sedan. Although the back seat of the S5 Sportback Bench is of competitive class and comfortable enough for two, those looking for maximum rear seat space will be best served by the S4 sedan, which offers about half an inch of extra-head and space.

The 2018 Audi RS 5 Coupe is more of a great Tourer than a sports car, but it still looks fantastic, lots of power packs, and grunts like an angry bear if you put your foot down. But while it will hang with competitors like the M4 and the C63 S Coupe, anyone looking for an alternative from Audi to the M3 and C63 four-door has been lucky. Until now. Know the 2019 Audi RS 5 Sportback.
Essentially replacing the RS4 sedan, the RS 5 Sportback takes everything we like from the A5 and S5 versions and adds even more performance to the equation. Under the hood, there is a 2.9-liter V-6 twin-turbo that makes 444 HP and 443 lb-ft of torque. Matched with an eight-speed automatic and rear-skewed all-wheel drive, the Sportback of RS 5 hit 60 mph in less than 4 seconds, according to Audi. Like the coupe, the maximum speed is 155 mph. Add the optional Dynamic Plus package and increase the maximum speed to 174 mph. For comparison, the S5 Sportback uses a V-6 turbocharged 3.0-Liter that makes 354 hp and 369 lb-ft to hit 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
