2019 Audi Q3 Dimensions
2019 Audi Q3 Dimensions welcome to audicarusa.com discover New Audi sedans, SUVs & coupes get our expert review. Audi first produced the compact Q3 crossover at 2011, the high-five-door luxury posture has set strong sales numbers, acting well in a segment full of competition. These days, the demand for small SUVs continues to grow without renouncing, which means that Audi is giving the third quarter a second-generation upgrade for the model year 2019. Providing the latest style cues and the advantages of Q3 ‘s equipment is the Audi lineup of Gama-toppers, including the Q8 and the A8, while the larger exterior dimensions and a turbocharged engine line rounds out.
While the Audi Q3 2019 actually offers a new style, the overall design is more or less identical to the outgoing model, with a vertical posture, sharp angles, and deep cuts. Put it all together, and you’ll get a high profile crossover with tons of Premium signals, many of which Audi pulled out of the range-topping Q8 SUV.
And while we would like to present the style changes under the heading of “Evolution instead of revolution “, there are some notable aesthetic updates to point out. Let’s start at the front, where we find Audi’s distinctive Singleframe grille once again in full effect. This time, however, the design uses a new octagonal shape, as opposed to the six-sided grille found in the previous year of the model. The nose also comes with eight vertical chrome slats for the grid insert, instead of the horizontal slats of the previous model, and the side shots are also obtained a bit of remodeling as well.
Above, we find the headlight housings, which get a sharp and drawn look that gives off more of a high-tech environment compared to the trapezoidal housings of the previous model. You ‘ll be able to purchase the Q3 with three individual led configurations for forwarding lighting, including a cover led matrix design that comes complete with a high-beam adaptive feature.
Moving to the sides, we find the front and back of the profile with symmetrical illumination graphics between the headlights and taillights, which are reflected in the shoulder line with the same form of the apostrophe. The size of the wheels includes 17-inches, 18-inches, and 20-inches, all of which come with lightweight aluminum construction. What’s more, the 20-inch wheel option comes from Audi Sports GmbH, giving Q3 some extra-special performance in the process.
The housing of the large alloy rollers, you will find output wheel arches, which are intended to emphasize the size of the crossover and presence, even if it is a compact model. The plumped fenders also give a wink to the Quattro SUVs transmission (more about that in the “Transmission ” section). Further back, the angle of the D-pillars helps to emphasize the forward-tipped rake of the car. The polished window surrounds the flash factor, and the ceiling rails up the practicality side of things.

To add an extra Off-roader style touch, the Q3 comes with the contrasting paint option added to the lower body lining, extending from the nose to the back. Offered in a matte black finish, the bottom liner should help remove any part of the ground that rises while exploring the less traveled path.
Finally, at the rear, the 2019 Q3 comes with a subtle end-edge roof spoiler, as well as large rear-light housings that match the design of the headlights. The lower bumper once again comes with the same flat black color, plus a couple of fake vents on the corners. All count, Audi offers three outdoor packages to enhance Q3 ‘s exterior style. This includes the S-line sports package, which adds new performance-oriented treatments to bumpers, sill ledge and diffuser. There are also eleven painting options on the table.
Beyond aesthetics, the Q3 is larger than it was before, with the outer dimensions including an increase of 14.7 feet in total length, which is an increase of 3.8 inches compared to the outgoing model. The 2019 Audi Q3 is also an inch wider than before, up to 6.1 feet in total width, while the wheelbase gains a considerable 3-inch length, up to 8.8 feet in general. All of these size increases help increase passenger comfort in the cockpit, with extended space, more elbow space and a larger knee room compared to the outgoing model year.
That said, the 2019 Q3 is also 0.2 inches shorter in terms of height, up to 5.2 feet in general. Although this certainly gives you some additional visual appeal, it could also have a small impact on the interior space. There is no word yet about whether or not the case indeed.
However, the Audi Q3 2019 is still considered large for the compact segment. You can check the exact exterior dimensions in the table provided below, which also includes the previous model year for the sake of comparison.
